About us

I was born in the town of San Ignacio in the western district of Cayo, Belize. The second of 5 kids. I first started to work as a zookeeper at the Belize Zoo. Working there allowed me to interact a lot with people from various countries. Many times, I was chosen to do private tours at the Zoo; I then moved to Maya Mountain Lodge where I started as an apprenticed guide working and learning from an excellent guide who taught me great things about our wonderful jewel of Belize. This was the institution that truly got me hooked on the outdoors, this alone with my avid love of reading about natural histories and other magazines.

Phenomenal ATM tour with Jam jamJam: jam was a fantastic guide. He was funny, personable and so knowledgeable about Belize, it’s history, culture, and landscape. He brought the Mayans to life as we traversed the cave! It is by far one of the most amazing and beautiful places I have been. I can’t recommend this tour or Jam jam enough! It was a phenomenal experience!
